Momentum Broadcasting’s 106.1 The River is an Active Adult Contemporary format designed for today’s active adults on the move. Active AC is the perfect format for at-work listening as well as driving to and from work, to school practices and everything in between, with hit driven familiar music, a core of today’s hottest artists and some local up and coming artists dropped in throughout the day. The River targets adults 18-49 and comes in at approximately 60% female, 40% male.

The emphasis is on the music with less talk and a mix of energetic hit music to get your day started right. You’ll hear at least 10 songs an hour in the morning on 106.1 The River.

Fridays at 7pm for a 1 hour journey through the week’s hottest songs. We play The River’s top 10 songs of the week in a Friday evening kick-off setting.

Saturday nights from 7P-1A, this 6 hour long feature focuses on great 80’s tunes that you used to listen to including Eurythmics, Bangles, Robert Palmer, Culture Club and many more. It’s a fun filled weekend night of memories from the 80’s. |
