The Colorado River carves through red-rock canyons, a desert wonderland at 4,000–6,000 feet. Hot days (80–100°F), cool nights, and epic rapids define this wild west vibe. Those rock layers tell a billion-year story!

Important Notes

Access: Moab is the main hub; flights to Canyonlands Field or Grand Junction, CO, work best.
Fitness: Moderate fitness required; suitable for ages 12+ with decent stamina. Rapids are thrilling but safe with guides.
Weather: April–October (70–100°F days, 40–60°F nights). Pack sunblock, hats, quick-dry clothes.
Gear: Sleeping bags not included; rent for $50 or bring your own. Waterproof bags provided.
